REVISED TRAUMA SCORE DENGAN KEJADIAN MORTALITAS PADA PASIEN CEDERA KEPALA

Abstract

Head injury is health problem that cause of phisyc problem and mental complexs. Mortality in Indonesia is one of highest caused by head injury. Triage of head injury is important to mortality prediction, and one of the methode is Revised Trauma Score. The purpose of research is to know correlate between Revised Trauma Score with patient’s mortality of head injury in Gambiran Hospital Kediri at 2014. This was an analytic research with cross sectional design. Methode of sample selection use simple random sampling (n = 76) on January to March 2014. Independent variable is Revised Trauma Score and dependent variable is Mortality. The data analyze use computerize with Coefficient Contingency, with α= 0,05. The result of research from 76 respondents achived totaly mortality is 5 people (6,6%) with most mortality in middle level RTS achived 4 people (5,26%). While in non mortality is 71 people (93,41%) with most non mortality in middle level RTS achived 35 people (46,05%). Statistical test show that P value = 0,31. So, it can be concluted that not significant relation betwen Revised Trauma Score with Mortality to head injury patiens in Gambiran Hospital Kediri at January to March 2014.
