HUBUNGAN ANTARA STRES KERJA DAN MEKANISME KOPING DENGAN KINERJA PERAWAT DI INSTALASI GAWAT DARURAT

Abstract

Nursing job is an integral part which can not separated to confirm the service quality to patient. The aim of this research is to identify the correlation between job stress and coping mechanism with job performance of nursing in emergency department RSUD Ngudi Waluyo and RSUD Mardi Waluyo Blitar.This research uses crossectional design. The  number of sample used is 34 respondents using total sampling.The instrument of this research uses quitionaire and observation tool. The result indicated that there was no correlation job stress with coping mechanism, there was correlation job stress with job performance, there was correlation coping mechanism with job performance and no correlation individual charactheristic with job performance. The dominan factor that influence of job performance is coping mechanism. It is recommended to research another factor which influence the nursing job performance such as the role of head nurse, The management of job stress and coping mechanism to improve the nursing job.
